Now this is the end. I’m flying back to Sydney that night. And I’m ready for a last lunch. Which will happen to be the most creative, by far, of all my Japanese meals. Thanks to Chuckeats, I picked this place. And man, THANK YOU! It was phenomenal. His sushi might not be perfect (I mean he’s at 98/100 or so if I had to give him a mark) but his sashimi courses are as good as Saito-san’s ones, if not more creative. His O toro grilled on some kind of robata was flawless. There is only 6 seats (they get smaller and smaller every day), and I would encourage everybody to go to this place. It was truly fantastic, and very different to the other sashimi/sushi meals I had. Some kind of crazy freedom in the chef’s cooking you can’t find anywhere else I’ve been. Unfortunately, no pics allowed except you’re alone in the restaurant, which wasn’t the case that day. But sometimes you just have to seize the moment and not lose attention because of a stupid camera. That lunch was that good. GO!
